Position Summary The Technology Support Technician will join the School of Law IT Support team to provide timely, customer-focused support for the SOL community. Services provided include technology consultations, device management (configuration, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and disposal), classroom and event technology support, hardware and software support, technical training, and incident resolution. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Graduation from high school and one year in the field of technology related to the position's role. - Computer coursework may be substituted year-for- year for the required experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Journey level requires an additional six months experience
  • Advanced level requires an additional one year of experience.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience Exceptional customer service skills. Strong communication skills. Exceptional troubleshooting skills. Ability to work with a broad range of customers. Ability to work individually and collaboratively in a team. Experience providing technical support for devices running Windows and Mac OS. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience Experience supporting Zoom and other conferencing platforms. Experience providing in-person, hands-on technical support. Experience supporting classroom technology software and hardware. Proficiency with Office 365 applications and usage. Experience providing technical support for devices running iOS, and Android OS. Experience providing technical support in higher education. Required Licenses/Certifications Special Physical/Mental Requirements Ability to move up to 25 lbs. with or without accommodation.
