Continuum Medical Staffing is seeking a NP/PA to provide locums coverage for a Symptom Management Clinic. The Symptom Management Clinic is located inside the largest cancer center in Eastern North Carolina and provides acute care to patients who experience side effects from chemotherapy.
Providers with Hematology Oncology experience are preferred.
New providers will need to come in the day before their first scheduled shift for a paid orientation. Candidates must have an active North Carolina license and North Carolina DEA.

Coverage needed:
May 28th for 6 weeks
Monday-Friday 7:30am-5pm
• Clinical responsibilities will include providing care for hematology oncology patients exhibiting symptoms related to acute side effects of chemotherapy such as nausea, vomiting, dehydration, and fever
• No call
• BLS required
• Anticipated Volume: 12-14 patients per day
• No critical care responsibilities
• Locums will not respond to codes but will need to respond to patients who experience medication reactions in nearby infusion suite
2 years or more of work Hematology/Oncology Work experience.
Malpractice, accommodations and travel are provided.
Providers are paid on a weekly basis.
