As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Driver in Mount Holly, NC , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.32 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures, screening protocols, and access requirements at an automotive location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, maintain visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and activities according to site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual conditions and support security-related operations.
• Assist with vehicle and delivery access activities, direct traffic flow when needed, and communicate with site contacts regarding entry procedures and/or operational concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
