Job Title: Physician Assistant

About the Role
Our client is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physician Assistant to join their healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care across multiple settings, including senior care, ICU, and hospital medicine. This role requires a dedication to patient advocacy, clinical excellence, and a desire to grow professionally in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical exams and medical histories.

• Collaborate with supervising physicians to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Assist with diagnostic procedures, including spinal taps, and contribute to clinical research initiatives.

• Provide patient management in acute care environments such as ICU and hospice palliative care.

• Support discharge planning to ensure safe transitions from hospital to home or other care facilities.

• Educate patients and their families on treatment options, preventive care, and health management strategies.

• Maintain precise medical documentation, including ICD-10 coding for diagnoses and procedures.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and support occupational health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

• Current NCCPA certification and valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant.

• Prior experience in senior care, ICU, or teaching hospitals preferred.

• Knowledge of ICD-10 coding is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in team-based settings.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and participation in clinical research.
