Travel Nursing Job Details

• Healthcare Setting: Operating Room (OR), Level 3 Trauma Center, Stroke & Bariatric Center
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• End Date: December 13, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00am – 7:00pm)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• Call Requirement: 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule (45-minute response time)
• Holiday Expectations: Travelers work 75% of holidays
• Scrubs: Provided
• Parking: Free on-site
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470 - $1570

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Active North Carolina RN license or compact state eligibility
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Strong clinical skills in trauma, orthopedic, spine, cardiac, robotics, general, bariatrics, gynecology, urology, ENT, plastics, and more
• Ability to participate in weekend rotation and call schedule
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

OR RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in a busy operating room with 19 suites
• Assist with diverse surgical procedures: trauma, ortho, spine, cardiac, robotics, and others
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain strict sterile technique and infection control standards
• Respond promptly to call shifts and surgical emergencies
• Participate in departmental orientation and ongoing clinical education
• Foster a positive, supportive operating room culture
