Position Title: Production Utility
Factory Location: Charlotte, NC
Compensation: $26.83 / hour
Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours worked
Schedule: Monday - Friday, multiple shifts:
1st Shift: Mon - Fri 4:30 AM - 1:00 PM
2nd Shift: Mon - Fri 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM
3rd Shift: Mon - Fri 8:30 PM - 5:00 AM
Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs

Responsibilities
- Operate bottling equipment, loading raw materials by hand and by forklift, equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and cleaning, quality control inspections, and computerized production data logging.
- Safely operate a yard truck to move trailers accurately and efficiently from the yard to a shipping door for shipment to customers.
- Support Cleaning, Inspection and Lubrication activities on workstations throughout the factory.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics including efficiency, production, downtime.
- Ensure quality inspections and sensory testing is being completed.
- Load and unload trailers with materials for operations.
- Assist with troubleshooting and basic equipment repair and escalation via tagging notifications.
- Record and chart production output and equipment downtime.
- Be an active member in SHO to setup the team for success.
- Ensure housekeeping and sanitation practices are maintained on lines.
- Support equipment changeovers to accommodate production demands.
- Lead problem solving activities in independent and team setting utilizing GSTD.
- Maintain the factory in an organized and clean manner ensuring safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Interact with production team members, quality control, and Maintenance technicians to maximize output and efficiency.
- Additional tasks assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid CDL Class A license is required
- Forklift experience preferred
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Two or more years prior experience in production within manufacturing, ideally in the food or beverage industry or a clean manufacturing environment.
- Solid computer skills, including the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and enterprise management software (SAP).
- Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively.
- Solid problem solving and decision making skills.
- Comfort working in a high speed production environment.
- Ability to move/lift 50 lbs various times over a 8 hour shift, basic math and reading skills.
- Willingness to work holidays and weekends as we are a 24/7 business operating through most weekends and holidays.
- Willingness and ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hold & cold).
- Must be willing to float to other areas of production as needed.
Candidates must possess strong English language skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service. Proficiency in English is essential for understanding customer needs, resolving inquiries, and collaborating with team members.
