Title: Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer
Location: 3475 Wesleyan Blvd N, Rocky Mount, NC 27804
Duration: 06 Months with possible extension
Pay Rate: $55/hr. to 60.82/hr.
Work Schedule: Shift: Day 8 to 5 – Onsite Site Only
- Designs, develops, and tests all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
- Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
- May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May report to an executive or a manager.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
The new hire will be supporting the yield improvement project for the F414 EFC and EHSV product line with the following key responsibilities:
- Review and research of repair development technical requirements (processes, procedures, techniques, etc).
- Review and research of repair development regulatory requirements compliance (materials, tools, equipment, technical documentation, facilities, etc.).
- Participate in coordination of findings and proposed solutions for TAT reduction and FPY Improvement.
- Participate in the integration of findings and approved solutions into current development and completion of Technical Publication Change Requests, Temporary and/or complete Revisions.
- Participate in development and completion of Overhaul Repair Instructions.
- Development and completion of repair processes and procedures documentation.
- Development and completion of Technical Inspection Instructions.
- Development and completion of technical equivalencies for materials, tools and equipment used in overhaul repair activities at Compabny Repair and Overhaul site
Work environment:
- Office/Warehouse - Steel toed shoes and safety glass required
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Processing customer orders (order entry)
- Providing order status updates and follow-ups
- Managing customer inquiries and complaints
- Handling customer escalations professionally
- Maintaining consistent communication with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Supporting post-order activities and issue resolution
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders
- This role requires balancing operational execution with high-quality customer engagement.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Experience:
3–5 years of relevant experience in:
- Customer Service
- Customer Success
- Account Coordination / Client Support
Customer Environment:
- B2B (Business-to-Business) experience required
Interaction with:
- Supply chain professionals
- Buyers / procurement teams
- Business clients
Must-Have Skills
Suppliers should prioritize candidates with:
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proven ability to handle customer escalations and difficult conversations
- Experience in order entry and order management processes
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and customer-centric mindset
