Electrical Hardware Manager
Position OverviewThe Electrical Hardware Manager will oversee the design, deployment, and management of electrical power monitoring systems for critical commercial and industrial facilities. This role is essential in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of electrical power systems while coordinating with engineers and technicians to meet project deliverables within established schedules and budgets. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and deployment of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) for mission-critical facilities.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to develop metering architectures and power quality monitoring solutions.
- Manage the commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical power systems to ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and UL standards.
- Oversee resource allocation and workload planning for project execution.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry best practices during installation and commissioning phases.
- Monitor and report on project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate EPMS into overall system designs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure quality installations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical power systems management, specifically with EPMS.
- Experience with Modbus, BACnet devices, or SCADA is a plus.
- Experience in construction and deployment of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
