TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Ortho RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Orthopedics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of orthopedic experience required; traveler experience accepted. License: NC or Compact license required at time of start. Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS and NIH preferred. Must-Have: Must have orthopedic work experience. Must have experience in IV start and telemetry. Travelers may be required to float to other units within the facility based on staffing needs. Description: Cross posting after booking is not allowed. Any call offs or additional time off on the unit could lead to a cancel. The unit requires nurses who can manage multiple pain medications effectively. The patient population consists of orthopedic, neuro spine, med-surg, and post-surgical patients. Candidates must be comfortable floating with no restrictions. The unit experiences a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail in patient care. Patient ratios are expected to be between 5-7 patients per nurse. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Mandatory compliance with fatigue policy: travelers cannot work more than 5 days in a row or exceed 60 hours in a week. References from two managers or supervisors within the past 12 months are preferred. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. About Cynet Health
