Productivity Improvement Specialist
- Evaluate current manufacturing practices, identify improvement opportunities, and lead projects through the sustainment phase.
- Develop and apply data analysis methods to deliver meaningful summary insights to internal customers.
- Lead and manage the cost savings portfolio and develop improvement strategies.
- Collaborate and connect with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Train and apply Lean principles during project execution.
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence through continual learning.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
- 8+ years of experience applying Industrial Engineering techniques and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
- Proven ability to research, improve, and implement projects that positively impact Safety & Quality culture, schedule performance, and cost reduction.
- Strong desire and technical aptitude to understand product design, including how features influence design for manufacturability, material selection, and product cost.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate drawings, lineups, BOMs, and component features to calculate Design for Manufacturability and financial impact, and to coach teams during Lean workshops. SAP experience preferred.
- Proficiency in problem‑solving methodologies (e.g., 5‑Why, Fishbone, A3).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, Visio for process documentation, Excel (including pivot tables), and an understanding of business KPIs and operations management.
- Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice versa.
