Satellite Branch Manager

Job Summary: The Site Manager will oversee operations at the Charlotte, NC satellite branch, which operates under the direction of the Knoxville, TN branch. This role is responsible for executing heavy lifting and transportation projects - both in the field and at the Branch - in alignment with company standards and procedures. The Site Manager will lead the team to perform work safely, efficiently, and profitably, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Additionally, this position is accountable for crew safety, training, and ongoing development.

Key Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Demonstrate and uphold company Core Values in all tasks.
  • Support sales by attending job walks, aiding in estimates, and contributing to solution-based selling.
  • Collaborate with engineering to plan and optimize upcoming work.
  • Participate in handoff meetings to align drawings, schedules, and field expectations.
  • Coordinate equipment needs, inspections, load-out lists, and trucking with internal teams.
  • Lead safe execution of scheduled work using company safety protocols and risk assessments.
  • Assign tasks to crews with clear expectations for time, safety, and performance.
  • Ensure crew members are qualified for assigned tasks and promote ongoing skill development.
  • Continuously seek improvements in scheduling, safety, and equipment care.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and share impactful ideas with leadership.
  • Promote fairness and morale in work assignments and coaching.
  • Train team members to earn additional qualifications.
  • Maintain respectful, professional interactions with all customers.
  • Set the tone for a positive, motivated team culture.
  • Participate in scheduled crew evaluations and performance reviews.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership in building and developing high-performing teams aligned with the company's Mission and Core Values.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in rigging, heavy lifting, equipment operation, fabrication, maintenance, or transportation execution.
  • Ability to manage financial aspects of branch operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and driving performance toward key success metrics.
  • Project management experience in construction, industrial services, or related heavy field environments.
  • Proficiency in business software and reporting tools to effectively communicate performance metrics, process improvements, and operational updates.

Education: Bachelor's degree or sufficient experience.

Experience: Previous Leadership experience preferred.
