This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated real estate finance and CMBS transactions within a highly regarded national practice, alongside strong mentorship and a clear path for long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent lenders, borrowers, servicers, and institutional clients in complex real estate finance and CMBS transactions
- Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents, intercreditor agreements, securitization-related documents, and other transaction materials
- Manage transactions from inception through closing, coordinating with clients, opposing counsel, title companies, and other deal parties
- Advise clients on structuring, strategic, and commercial considerations across a wide range of finance matters
- Handle acquisitions, refinancing, mezzanine financing, and commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) deals involving diverse asset classes
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional legal service
Ideal Background:
- 2–7 years of experience handling commercial real estate finance matters, including CMBS transactions
- Experience representing lenders, borrowers, or institutional investors in sophisticated finance deals
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative transactional environment
- Excellent academic credentials and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and project management ability
