The Greer Group is hiring for Night shift Machine Operators for our Manufacturing client in Oxford, NC! This is a Temp to Hire opportunity, with room for growth!

Pay: $17/hour PAID WEEKLY!
Day Shift: Sunday-Wednesday 8:00 pm-6:00 am. Must be able to train on 1st shift!

Job Description:
Set up, operate and maintain machine to make quality products not only for external but also internal customers.
Responsible for meeting deadlines so that product is delivered to customer as required.
Must be able to read and understand formulas, layout charts, blueprints and statistical control process charts.
Job Outline/Procedure(s) Including Safety Guidelines:
Secures order/print/control plan and lay out from production planner or supervisor for next job to be set up and run
Uses computer to run move tickets to be used as identification of parts
Collects all part tooling and machine tooling for the job
Removes all tooling, scrap and paper work from previous job from machine and gage table to get ready for change over to new job
Follow hazardous waste handling procedures when disposing of mop water
Turns in all gauging from previous and request gauges for new job
Starts changeover/set up
When good pieces are ready set up person will turn in required pieces for set up approval
Once set up has been approved the set up person will assign a machine operator to run machine

Tools Utilized:
Computer to retrieve work instructions
Various Measuring tools
Various Other Types of Tooling(such as form, shave, thread rolls and die heads)
Various types of fixtures(such as cam, slides and arms
Pre-washers
All types of wrenches (pliers, screwdrivers, vise, etc.)
Pencil/pen
Grease guns
Gauges
Safety glasses and ear plugs

Requirements:

• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Must be able to provide provide from of Highschool GED
• Work in a Hot/Cold environment depending on summer months.
• Mechanically inclined
