We are looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in the Birmingham metro area (office in Pelham). Position Summary:

In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Trade Relations (Purchasing) and the Production departments.

What You’ll Do:

1. Assist with setting up new trades including pricing and bid information.
2. Manage the administrative aspects of Variance Purchase Order’s (VPO’s) and Purchase Orders (PO’s)
3. Maintain productive relationships with Construction staff and Trade Partners.
4. Maintain the work schedule and process schedule delays (Slot Schedule)
5. Generate Plan Change Requests and manage vendor reassignments
6. Enter monthly and quarterly pricing in bid files
7. Run insurance reports and manage Certificate of Insurance files
8. Process subcontractor invoices.
9. Place orders for utilities
10. Review estimates with new communities
11. Assemble house files and homeowner packets
12. Manage samples from model home selections

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education:

• High School diploma

Experience:

• 2+ years office administrative experience.
• Experience in homebuilding industry preferred.

Computer Skills:

• Microsoft Office
