Overview

The Goddard School has a commitment to families to provide the best possible early years of education during their daycare experience. ​A Lead Teacher is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment and developing curriculum to meet the needs of the children in the classroom. Our school has a very positive based program in place where our teachers work as a team to guide children through milestones to the next stage of life. We have a very upbeat vibe to our school, love spoiling our teachers, and are always looking for the best!

Responsibilities:

• Instruct infant/toddler-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, playtime and safety
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents through fostering communication with families

• Ability to build rapport with children and parents
• Positive attitude and team player

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields preferred
• AA or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred
• EDU 119 must be complete or willing to enroll within 90 days of employment

Requirements

A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for working with infants and or toddlers and their families, be able to create a stimulating environment and work closely with a co-teacher. We need an outgoing, energetic, and team player teacher for this age segment.
