Azure infra-Architect

Akkodis is seeking an Azure infra-Architect for a Contract with a client in Raleigh, NC(Remote). The candidate must have proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-grade Azure Landing Zone architecture.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Azure infra-Architect job responsibilities include:

• Lead current‑state discovery across tenants, subscriptions, resources, identities, and dependencies to determine platform readiness and modernization needs.

• Design and evolve enterprise‑grade Azure Landing Zone architectures, including guardrails, controls, and standardized operating models.

• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code standards by creating reusable modules, enforcing coding patterns, and integrating delivery through CI/CD pipelines.

• Engineer monitoring, alerting, and observability baselines for production workloads while establishing dashboards and integration points with enterprise tools.

• Develop automated subscription vending and provisioning processes that enable scalable, self‑service cloud adoption.

• Produce comprehensive design documents, diagrams, and operational runbooks to support handover and long‑term platform sustainability.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.

• 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in Azure infrastructure architecture and platform engineering.

• Demonstrated capability in designing and deploying enterprise Azure Landing Zones, including platform guardrails and standardized operating models.

• Proven expertise in Infrastructure‑as‑Code delivery using Terraform and in establishing monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks for production workloads.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
