By leveraging your deep knowledge and hands-on experience, you will guide our client engagements and help us maintain our position as a trusted advisor in the industry. The Risk and Compliance Optimization Director is instrumental in driving innovation and thought leadership in financial services risk management and compliance. You will play a key role in protecting financial institutions, mitigating regulatory risks, enhancing operational efficiency, and promoting industry leadership.

- Manage and/or oversee the management of complex client engagements, creating technology-enabled risk management solutions to drive client value.
- Collaborate with leadership to establish organizational strategies and business objectives, influencing the strategic and long-term focus of the organization.
- Provide authoritative advice to top management based on deep subject matter expertise and thought leadership on complex business and technical client engagements.
- Influence business and technology strategy by understanding business needs and industry trends, and prioritizing business and/or IT resources.
- Lead the development of innovative ideas and principles, generating leading-edge consulting solutions that drive client value.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with top executives in targeted companies, participating as a key member in solutions and strategy decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and leverage technology-enabled risk management solutions, including advanced data analytics and risk platforms, to drive client value.
- Design solutions to enhance risk and compliance organizations, ensuring they align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, while optimizing processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and delivering tailored solutions that address specific risk management and compliance challenges.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in Risk and/or Compliance supporting the Financial Services industry
- 3+ years of direct experience with evolving technologies (specifically AI/ML) and Risk platforms to support broader enterprise needs
- 10+ years of experience leading consulting engagements, managing client relationships, and delivering strategic solutions that drive client value.
Preferred Skills:
- Master’s degree
- Management Consulting firm experience that required daily customer engagement and delivery excellence to complete client projects
- Experience in client facing business development, building industry relationships, and developing talent

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $187,875.00-$250,500.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
