IFABCorp. Is looking for an efficient Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to handle a variety of HR administrative duties in our Gastonia office. This position plays a crucial role in the HR department.
Responsibilities :- Serve as a point of contact for general HR inquiries and direct complex matters where appropriate
- Provide administrative assistance to employees
- Completes employment eligibility documentation, including I-9's and E-Verify in a timely manner
- Manage onboarding processes, including coordination of first day details, orientation and other employee experience activities
- Maintain HR personnel files
- Manage ordering supplies for the department to include business card and name tag ordering process
- Manage Employment Verifications
- Assist with Annual Benefits Enrollment where needed
- Support recruitment in job fair sign-ups when needed
- Assist with employee activities
- Prepare HR presentation materials and employee documents
- Document standard operating procedures for internal HR processes
- Maintain confidentiality
- Maintain compliance with local, state and federal reporting requirements
- Provide general HR support for the employee community
- Serve as back up for a broad range of HR processes
- Other duties as assigned
Three years of related work experience preferred, or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to be able to perform the role. Professional Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to problem solve and think independently
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Ability to handle confidential data with a high level of professionalism
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
