Intern - Facilities Coordinator

Labcorp is seeking a Facilities Coordinator Intern to join our team at Durham in North Carolina .

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours / week

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the site Sr. Facilities Manager or Director in definition of soft services objectives and budget and ensure compliance and reporting.

• Identify and assign resources to meet department's objectives, search for new lines of Collaborate with site facilities teams

• Identify and implement innovation opportunities or process improvements to deliver cost savings or productivity gains for the business.

• Ensure compliance and service quality by monitoring third-party contractors providing daily services (e.g., waste management, cleaning, catering) in line with SLAs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in a Facilities related field or 4 years of active military service or >7 years of commercial facilities experience in one of the building trades.

Additional Job Standards:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem solving/trouble shooting skills.

• Ability to self-lead tasks to completion.

• Must be able to work well in a team environment but also have the ability to work independently.

We are seeking a Facilities Coordinator Intern to be responsible for managing the Soft-Services across mid- to large-sized sites, holding full responsibility over department budget & operations which include Custodial Services, Catering, Waste Management, Landscaping, Contract and SLA Management
