Intern - Facilities Coordinator
Labcorp is seeking a Facilities Coordinator Intern to join our team at Durham in North Carolina .
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours / week
Job Responsibilities:
Support the site Sr. Facilities Manager or Director in definition of soft services objectives and budget and ensure compliance and reporting.
Identify and assign resources to meet department's objectives, search for new lines of Collaborate with site facilities teams
Identify and implement innovation opportunities or process improvements to deliver cost savings or productivity gains for the business.
Ensure compliance and service quality by monitoring third-party contractors providing daily services (e.g., waste management, cleaning, catering) in line with SLAs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree in a Facilities related field or 4 years of active military service or >7 years of commercial facilities experience in one of the building trades.
Additional Job Standards:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong problem solving/trouble shooting skills.
Ability to self-lead tasks to completion.
Must be able to work well in a team environment but also have the ability to work independently.
