Azure Cloud Engineer - Data Services + Databricks
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer - Data Services + Databricks in Charlotte, NC. Senior Azure Cloud Engineer with Databricks Admin Specialty Duties:
- This role will work closely with data engineer and solution architect to implement Databricks workspaces management
- Administering, configuring, and optimizing Databricks workspaces, clusters, and jobs
- Managing user identities, access controls, and security policies at workspace level
- Implementing and managing backup and recovery strategies for Databricks environments
- Ensuring compliance with security and governance standards
- Collaborating with data engineering and data science teams to streamline development and deployment processes
- Experience using Terraform/Python to manage Azure Databricks workspace, granular permissions and etc. would be preferred
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
