As a Senior Security Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of protecting sensitive data and helping clients navigate the complex world of security. You'll use your deep expertise to lead critical PCI-DSS assessments and help businesses build a more secure digital world. This isn't just about checklists and reports—it's about making a tangible impact on our clients' security posture and building a legacy of trust and expertise.
You’ll play a pivotal role as a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), leading projects with autonomy and acting as a trusted advisor to clients. This is a dynamic, remote position that will have you collaborating with people across the globe and occasionally traveling to client sites to validate technical and physical controls.
What you'll be doing:
Lead with expertise: Take the lead on comprehensive PCI-DSS assessments, guiding clients through the entire process and providing expert consultation.
Uncover critical insights: Methodically collect, organize, and analyze evidence across various platforms and applications to identify gaps and ensure compliance.
Build strong relationships: Schedule and lead engaging technical interviews with a wide range of client stakeholders, from subject matter experts to executive leadership.
Drive improvement: Deliver clear and concise reports, metrics, and presentations that not only highlight gaps but also provide actionable recommendations for remediation.
Mentor the next generation: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, helping them grow their skills and expertise in the security field.
Create compelling deliverables: Write detailed, high-quality technical reports and supporting documentation for clients and card brands. You'll also craft and deliver executive presentations to C-level audiences, translating complex findings into clear, impactful insights.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
Hands-on experience as a PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).
Experience in the following disciplines: Application Security, Network Security, IT Security Auditing, and Information Security Risk Assessment.
You must hold one active Information Security certification from this list: CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
You must hold one active Audit certification from this list: CISA, GSNA, or ISO 27001 Lead/Internal Auditor.
Willingness to travel up to 75%
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Additional PCI certifications such as 3DS, QPA, P2PE QSA, SLC, SSF, PFI, or CPSA.
Experience with leading cloud security assessments and holding active cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience negotiating interchange rates for merchants.
Experience using AI tools to automate tasks, such as report generation or data analysis.
The ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally. You should be comfortable leading discussions, providing clear direction, and presenting complex information to diverse audiences.
Autonomy and teamwork: Demonstrated ability to thrive independently while also collaborating effectively with a team to meet project deadlines.
Where you’ll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.Scheduled Weekly Hours

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $101,000.00 - $194,000.00.
