Hours: 5:00am to 3:30pm Monday - Thursday mandatory OT on Friday and Saturday based on a business need.

Job Summary
Perform a variety of welding operations using shielded arc to modify standard or special woven wire panels by welding hinge sections to make doors or openings for windows, locks, Dutch doors, and similar modifications.
Essential Job Requirements
- Mig welding experience or formal Mig welding training
- Able to complete and pass a welding test.
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Good attendance record
Essential Job Functions
1. Work from verbal or written instructions, including sketches.
2. Use standard shielded arc welding equipment. Specials sections are prepared dimensionally for welding by Assembler-Specials Items. Assemble and mount hardware or reinforcing parts prior to welding. Occasionally may perform routine torch cutting.
3. Perform required plant maintenance welding. Work to reasonably close welding tolerances; tolerances not difficult to achieve.
4. Responsible for minor cleaning and maintenance of welding equipment. Notify supervisor when maintenance assistance for welding equipment is necessary. Initiate request of welding materials and spare parts.
5. Detect equipment malfunctions, defective materials, unusual conditions to supervisor. Maintain equipment and work areas in clean and orderly condition. Observe all safety rules, regulations, and practices.
Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or instructed by supervisor.
