RN Case Management Job Details

• Location: Asheville, NC (28801) – North Carolina healthcare jobs
• Facility: Mission Hospital, Main Campus
• Position Type: Travel RN, Locum Tenens
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour day shifts)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Assignment Length: 26 weeks (Start: 7/6/2025 – End: 1/4/2026)
• Unit: Case Management (All Units)
• Self-Scheduling: Available
• Dress Code: Business Attire
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,870 - $1,920 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN case management experience
• Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and efficiently manage shifting priorities
• Proven ability to build trust with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Experience with Cerner, NATE, and Ensocare electronic health record systems preferred

RN Case Manager Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care with RN Case Managers and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Manage patient caseloads (average ratio 1:40) across multiple hospital units
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation of patient information and care plans
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Float between units as needed to support hospital operations and clinical support
• Promote a positive patient experience and uphold high standards of nursing care
• Participate in self-scheduling and adapt to changing healthcare priorities
