Emerging Markets Account Manager
The American National Red Cross seeks an Emerging Markets Account Manager to expand humanitarian impact across high-potential regions. In this mission-driven role, you will build and manage strategic relationships with nonprofit, corporate, and government partners to advance disaster relief, blood services, and health and safety initiatives. Responsibilities include developing market strategies, securing funding, coordinating cross-functional project delivery, and tracking impact metrics. You will represent the Red Cross in the field, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and help communities prepare for and recover from crises.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with partners in emerging markets to advance Red Cross programs and services
- Identify, qualify, and secure new funding and partnership opportunities across nonprofit, corporate, and government sectors
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to design and deliver humanitarian initiatives tailored to local community needs
- Monitor and report on portfolio performance, impact metrics, and compliance with donor and organizational requirements
- Lead outreach, presentations, and negotiations to grow regional impact and donor engagement
- Collaborate with regional and national stakeholders to align market strategies with Red Cross mission and priorities
- Conduct market and stakeholder research to inform growth strategies and risk assessments
- Support disaster response and blood services campaigns through market-specific engagement plans
- Prepare proposals, grant applications, and partnership agreements
- Represent the Red Cross at conferences, briefings, and community events in assigned markets
