About the j ob: To perform a wide variety of Speech Therapy evaluations and procedures in the care and treatment of patient

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from a recognized college or university majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech and Hearing Science, Speech Pathology.
• BLS Certification required.
• North Carolina state license required.
• At least one year of speech therapy experience required.
• Considerable knowledge of speech and swallowing terminology, procedures, and techniques.
• Thorough skill and clinical judgement in performing speech therapy procedures, including bedside swallow evaluations and treatment.
• Demonstrates effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams that aligns with CaroMont’s cultural values.
• Commitment to providing highly reliable, high quality, safe and compassionate care with the passion for continuous growth and providing an excellent patient experience.
