Technical Program Manager
Akkodis is seeking a Technical Program Manager for a Contract with a client in Cary, NC. Candidates must demonstrate deep knowledge of software development concepts and strong program management skills.
Rate Range: $41/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Technical Program Manager job responsibilities include:
Lead and manage complex technical programs from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Facilitate cross‑functional communication between engineering, product, and business teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
Identify project risks early and develop effective mitigation strategies to maintain delivery timelines.
Drive process improvements by analyzing workflows and implementing enhancements to increase efficiency and predictability.
Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable information for non‑technical stakeholders through strong verbal and written communication.
Monitor program performance, track progress against milestones, and ensure successful delivery of technical initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
6–8 years of experience in Program Management or Technical Program Management within technology‑driven environments.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and technical concepts to effectively communicate with engineering teams.
Proven ability to manage complex technical projects, including risk management, cross‑functional coordination, and issue resolution.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $55.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
