Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in New York, NY / Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience in building scalable services and managing PL/SQL components in distributed environments .

Rate Range: $41/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

• Build and deploy cloud‑native services on AWS, ensuring secure, reliable, and high‑performance environments.

• Write and optimize PL/SQL queries, procedures, and database components to support backend functionality.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design APIs and integrate microservices across distributed systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application performance issues across Java services, AWS components, and database layers.

• Participate in code reviews, follow best development practices, and ensure high‑quality, maintainable software delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Microservices, and PL/SQL development.

• Strong expertise in building and deploying microservices using Spring Boot and AWS cloud services.

• Proven ability to optimize backend systems through advanced PL/SQL development and Java‑based performance tuning.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $56.00 per hour
