Travel CNC Machinist Position to Newport News, VA

Pay Rate

$45 per hour + $140 a day per diem

Job Description

• Seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with a minimum of 8 years of experience .
• Strong expertise in operating and maintaining various machinery, including NC and manual machines.
• Understanding of numerical controlled processes, precision measuring instruments, and the ability to read and comprehend complex mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience working with Horizontal Boring Machines, Gantry Mills, and Large Mill/Lathe CNC Machines

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and NC machines such as lathes, mills, horizontal & vertical machining centers, and EDMs.
• Utilize controllers such as Fanuc, Siemens, Acramatic, and Cincinnati-Milacron.
• Use precision measuring instruments including outside/inside micrometers, depth mics, and verniers.
• Perform threading, drilling, and tapping processes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37.50 - $37.50/hr.
