Schedule: Monday–Friday Pay: $65,000/year Benefits: Full benefits package We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Cost Estimator for a direct-hire opportunity. Candidates must have experience in metal manufacturing, fabrication, machining, or sheet metal environments. Responsibilities:

• Prepare manufacturing cost estimates and quotes
• Analyze material, labor, and production costs
• Review blueprints and technical drawings
• Work with production and engineering teams

Requirements:

• Metal manufacturing experience required
• Estimating or costing experience preferred
• Excel and analytical skills
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for manufacturing jobs and production runs
• Analyze labor, material, overhead, and production costs
• Review blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to determine pricing strategies
• Maintain estimating databases and cost records
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Assist with quoting and bid preparation
• Monitor market pricing for metals, materials, and components

Qualifications

• Required: Experience in metal manufacturing, fabrication, machining, or sheet metal environments
• Previous experience in manufacturing estimating, costing, or production planning preferred
• Analytical and mathematical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

The essential functions of this role include:
