The Splicing Operator is responsible for the efficient and precise splicing of products, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols. This role involves working with various materials to create strong, durable connections for manufacturing and repair processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform splicing operations on materials, including belts, hoses, and gaskets, using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Ensure proper alignment and bonding of components to meet specified dimensions and performance standards.
• Conduct quality inspections of spliced products to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of splicing processes, materials used, and finished products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to splicing operations as they arise.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and minimal downtime.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Keep tools and equipment clean and well-maintained, reporting any malfunctions to management.
• Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and best practices in rubber splicing.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing field preferred.
• Ability to use equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, as well as within a team environment.
