· Level I Trauma
· Teaching Hospital
· Chest Pain Center
· Stroke Center
· Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
● Department Information:
· Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years Respiratory Therapy (Resource Team)
· Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
● Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
· Will provide Respiratory care for all patients throughout facility
● Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (Resource Team requirements)
· RRT or CRT
· NC Licensure
● Skills required:
·2 years Respiratory Therapy (Resource Team) ; IPPV/NIPPV ventilator experience
· ED, ICU, PCU, Gen Med Floors
● Support within the Department:
· Respiratory Leadership
● Technology/Equipment:
· EMR: EPIC
· Department specific Equipment: ventilators (IPPV/NIPPV)
● Floating:
· Will be required to float per Region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable
▪ Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, any Freestanding ED within Region, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH)
▪ If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)

·2 days departmental
