We are looking for a Maintenance Technician-HVAC to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Research Triangle Park,NC.

As a Maintenance Technician-HVAC you will strive to maximize building infrastructure uptime working within a close knit maintenance team. Our facility at RTP serves as the North American Headquarters of the US BASF Agricultural division, where we service offices, research greenhouses, and state of the art laboratories.

During your 7am to 3:45pm day as a Maintenance Technician-HVAC, you will

• Work 8hr days (plus day/night/weekend/holidays on a rotating on call basis)
• Have experience with HVAC electrical systems and troubleshooting
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Work overtime on a regular basis when the need arises and take part in the maintenance on-call schedule.

If you...

• Have a HS Diploma or GED with 10 years of Industrial Mechanic experience OR have a 2 year Associate degree from a technical school and 5 years of experience in an Industrial Mechanic position
• Can lift up to 50 lbs, carrying up to 25 lbs
• Are proficient in commercial building HVAC maintenance and repair (EPA Universal required and H2-T licensure preferred).
• Are proficient working with 3 phase electrical systems
• Are familiar with reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
• Have experience operating mobile equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts
• Have basic knowledge of maintenance hand tools and power tools
• Are able to work in various conditions, including cramped spaces and outdoor environments
• Have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Are able to work independently and as part of a team
• Have good communication and organizational skills
