CNC Machinist
Key Responsibilities:
- Program CNC machines using G-Code and CAM software such as Mastercam or GibbsCAM
- Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and first-piece inspections
- Operate CNC lathes and/or mills to produce precision machined components
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize downtime
- Perform in-process and final quality inspections using precision measuring tools
- Maintain 5S standards and a clean, organized work area
- Work with live tooling and multi-axis CNC machinery
- Program and setup robotic loaders/automation systems when required
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Monitor production efficiency and make process improvements as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong experience programming with G-Code required
- Experience with Mastercam and/or GibbsCAM preferred
- Experience performing multiple machine setups daily in a production environment
- Hands-on machining experience required — candidates must be comfortable producing parts daily
- Experience with live tooling and multi-axis machinery required
- Knowledge of various CNC machine brands and controls
- Experience with robotic loaders or automation systems is a plus
- Ability to perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools
- Must be able to stand for 8–10 hours per shift
- Ability to repeatedly lift 50–75 lbs
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Experience:
- CNC Lathe and Mill experience
- Experience with 3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis machines
- Manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or precision machining background preferred
