CNC Machinist

Key Responsibilities:

• Program CNC machines using G-Code and CAM software such as Mastercam or GibbsCAM
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and first-piece inspections
• Operate CNC lathes and/or mills to produce precision machined components
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize downtime
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections using precision measuring tools
• Maintain 5S standards and a clean, organized work area
• Work with live tooling and multi-axis CNC machinery
• Program and setup robotic loaders/automation systems when required
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
• Monitor production efficiency and make process improvements as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong experience programming with G-Code required
• Experience with Mastercam and/or GibbsCAM preferred
• Experience performing multiple machine setups daily in a production environment
• Hands-on machining experience required — candidates must be comfortable producing parts daily
• Experience with live tooling and multi-axis machinery required
• Knowledge of various CNC machine brands and controls
• Experience with robotic loaders or automation systems is a plus
• Ability to perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools
• Must be able to stand for 8–10 hours per shift
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50–75 lbs
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Experience:

• CNC Lathe and Mill experience
• Experience with 3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis machines
• Manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or precision machining background preferred
