Full Stack AI Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Full Stack AI Engineer with strong AI, GenAI, and enterprise application integration experience for a contract opportunity in the banking and consumer lending industry. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys building production-grade AI solutions, working closely with internal enterprise AI teams, and translating complex business requirements into scalable technical outcomes.

The Full Stack Engineer will embed directly with internal technology and business partners to rapidly prototype, deploy, integrate, and harden AI-enabled solutions within a regulated financial services environment. This is a strong opportunity to work on high-impact enterprise AI initiatives with supportive leadership, collaborative teams, and exposure to modern AI frameworks, cloud platforms, and full delivery lifecycle ownership.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and deliver full stack AI solutions from rapid prototype through production deployment.
- Partner with internal Enterprise AI teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, scope use cases, and iterate on working demos.
- Develop and integrate AI-enabled applications using LLMs, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, agentic frameworks, APIs, and enterprise data sources.
- Connect AI solutions to internal systems, structured and unstructured data, existing services, and enterprise platforms.
- Deploy, harden, and support solutions using cloud platforms, containers, CI/CD practices, and secure development standards.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineering teams and business stakeholders while supporting responsible AI delivery in a regulated environment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $87.33 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Build and deploy production-grade AI and GenAI solutions for internal enterprise use cases.
- Develop full stack applications and integrate AI capabilities with enterprise systems, APIs, and data platforms.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to translate real-world business requirements into working technical solutions.
- Support rapid prototyping, solution hardening, deployment, and ongoing technical delivery.

- 6 to 10 years of experience in software engineering, full stack development, AI engineering, or a related technical role.
- Experience with applied AI/ML and GenAI, including LLMs, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and agentic frameworks.
- Experience with AI ADK and SDK tools, as well as LangGraph and LangChain.
- Strong programming experience with Python or Java.
- Understanding of API development, systems integration, and connecting AI solutions to enterprise services and data sources.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with containerization and deployment tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Data engineering fundamentals, including SQL, data pipelines, and working with structured and unstructured data.
- Prior experience in financial services or banking environments.
- Security and compliance awareness, especially within regulated financial services or enterprise technology environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate between technical teams and business audiences.
- Comfortable working through ambiguity, iterating quickly, and moving from concept to functional demo or production-ready solution.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience supporting enterprise AI initiatives within banking, lending, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
- Experience building internal AI tools, workflow automation, or decision-support applications for business users.
- Familiarity with responsible AI practices, model governance, data privacy, and secure enterprise deployment.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including AI platform teams, data engineers, application developers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
