Senior Electrical Engineer
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a seasoned and proficient Senior Electrical Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to lead technical and design services across a broad range of electrical engineering projects. You will play a pivotal role in producing construction drawings and specifications for diverse client projects, both domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the electrical design process for both large-scale and smaller projects.
- Manage project schedules and coordinate efforts of the design team.
- Engage directly with architects and clients to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
- Conduct initial project evaluations and prepare detailed reports and documentation.
- Produce comprehensive design documents, including drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and project criteria through rigorous design reviews.
- Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
10 plus years of experience in Electrical Design including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, coordination/arc flash studies
BS in Electrical Engineering with PE Registration
Strong knowledge of Building Codes, Applicable NFPA Codes and Energy Codes
Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code
- Experience in Federal/Municipal Government, Healthcare or Aviation preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
- Must know REVIT and AutoCAD
- Must be self-motivated and work independently to complete work assignments.
- Must be able to work as part of a team and balance multiple projects.
- Must be a US Citizen
