Job Title: Line Lead / Production Line Supervisor
Job Objective:
Lead, coordinate, and supervise the daily operations of the production line to ensure quality, productivity, safety, and cleanliness standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise production line staff: assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback.

Ensure the line meets daily/weekly production targets.
-
Guarantee compliance with product quality standards.
-
Monitor basic equipment operation, detect issues, and report to maintenance.
-
Promote workplace safety and ensure hygiene and sanitation protocols are followed.

Collaborate with other supervisors, planning, and quality control to improve processes.
-
Train new staff and support team skill development.
-
Prepare production reports, downtime logs, and suggest continuous improvements.
Requirements:
-
Previous experience supervising staff in a production environment (food or frozen products preferred).

Basic knowledge of machinery or automated line operations.
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and leadership skills (bilingual Spanish/English preferred).

Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, etc.).

Availability for rotating shifts if required.

Education: High school diploma, technical training, or equivalent (preferred in manufacturing, food processing, or industrial operations).

Objetivo del puesto:
Dirigir, coordinar y supervisar las operaciones diarias de la línea de producción para asegurar que se cumplan los estándares de calidad, productividad, seguridad y limpieza.
Responsabilidades principales:

Supervisar al personal de la línea: asignar tareas, monitorear rendimiento y brindar retroalimentación.

Asegurar que la línea cumpla con los objetivos de producción diarios/semanales.

Garantizar el cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad de productos.
-
Monitorear el funcionamiento básico de equipos, detectar fallas y reportar al mantenimiento.
-
Promover la seguridad en el lugar de trabajo y asegurar el cumplimiento de protocolos de higiene y sanidad.
-
Colaborar con otros supervisores, planificación y control de calidad para mejorar procesos.
-
Capacitar al nuevo personal y apoyar en el desarrollo de competencias del equipo.

Preparar informes de producción, reportes de fallas y proponer mejoras continuas.
Requisitos:

Experiencia previa supervisando personal en un entorno de producción (preferiblemente en alimentos/congelados).

Conocimientos básicos de maquinaria o líneas automatizadas.

Capacidad para trabajar en un ambiente de ritmo rápido.
-
Buenas habilidades de comunicación y liderazgo (preferiblemente bilingüe español/inglés).

Conocimiento de normas de seguridad alimentaria (HACCP, BPM, etc.).

Disponibilidad para turnos rotativos si es necesario.
-
Estudios: Bachillerato técnico o equivalente (preferido en manufactura, alimentos o procesos industriales).
