Surgical Technologist Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist in a hospital OR setting
• Proven skills in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgical procedures
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Ability to adapt and float to other hospital units as needed
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a clinical environment

Surgical Tech Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operative procedures in the hospital OR
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, surgical instruments, and equipment
• Ensure patient safety and uphold infection control standards
• Support cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call rotations as required by the hospital
