Experienced Automotive Technician
Job Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Keffer Mazda in Huntersville, North Carolina. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, and will involve skilled labor responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as an automotive technician and will be able to work independently as an individual contributor while working within the constraints of a team leader. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they are safe and in good working condition. Compensation & Benefits: The compensation for this position ranges from $50,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This will be paid biweekly. - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on various makes and models of vehicles.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify and resolve problems.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding the status of repairs and expected completion time.
- Keep track of parts inventory and order any necessary parts as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols while working on vehicles.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as an automotive technician.
- Must have own tools.
- ASE certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
