Software Engineer

Our client is continuing to modernize its enterprise technology platform and is seeking a Developer to help
drive that transformation.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced software engineer who enjoys both application
development and solving complex data challenges.
Success in this role requires a balanced skill set—approximately 50% C#/.NET development and 50% SQL Server and enterprise data integration.
Initially, you'll play a key role in the company's enterprise ETL modernization initiative while helping build
modern .NET 8 microservices that support critical business applications.
As the modernization effort progresses, you'll continue expanding the organization's microservices architecture and enterprise integration platform.
What You'll Do
● Develop enterprise applications using C# and .NET 8
● Design and build scalable REST APIs and microservices
● Write advanced SQL Server queries, stored procedures, functions, and database objects
● Support enterprise ETL development and data integration initiatives
● Participate in the migration from Informatica to SnapLogic
● Develop integrations between enterprise systems including Salesforce and other business
platforms
● Work with Kafka messaging and modern integration technologies
● Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend
technical solutions
● Participate in design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing application support
● Contribute to a collaborative Agile development environment using GitHub, Jira, and modern
CI/CD practices
Required Qualifications:
● Strong professional experience developing enterprise software using C#/.NET
● Strong SQL Server development experience, including advanced T-SQL
● Experience writing stored procedures, views, functions, and complex SQL queries
● Experience working with enterprise data integration or ETL solutions
● Experience building REST APIs and microservices
● Experience with Dapper
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
● Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with business stakeholders
Preferred Experience
● .NET 8
● Kafka
● Kubernetes (deployment familiarity)
● SnapLogic, Informatica, or similar ETL platforms
● GitHub CI/CD
● Jira / Atlassian tools
● Salesforce integrations
● Retail, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or other high-volume transactional environments
Why This Opportunity?
This is not a role where developers simply receive specifications and write code.
You'll partner directly with business teams, help shape technical solutions, and own projects from
requirements through implementation.
The team values engineers who understand both software development and the movement of enterprise data.
You'll join an established development organization that already includes experienced microservices and
data integration engineers, providing a collaborative environment where you'll work with modern
technologies while making a measurable impact on the company's continued digital transformation.
