We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Care Coordinator to join our team. The Care Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring patients receive the best possible care and support throughout their treatment journey. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about patient care, skilled in medical administrative support, and thrive in a collaborative healthcare environment. This role requires a friendly, outgoing individual who can engage with patients in a warm and approachable manner.
Duties :
- Provide medical administrative support in a fast-paced medical office environment.
- Coordinate patient care by scheduling appointments, communicating with providers, and managing patient records.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring that all information is current and complete.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of medical terminology and apply this knowledge to coordinate patient care.
- Manage patient communication, including phone calls, emails, and in-person conversations.
- Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Experience :
- Previous experience in a medical environment preferred.
- Proven experience in medical administrative support, including patient scheduling and record management.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and medications, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree or Medical Assistant/Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
