Occupational Therapist Job Details

• Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina 28306
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital
• Employment Type: Travel Occupational Therapist (Contract)
• Start Date: August 22, 2025
• End Date: November 14, 2025
• Contract Duration: 12 weeks
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts (any shift)
• On-Call: No call required
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1230-$1270

Occupational Therapist Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain
• Rehabilitation Therapy certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred; new graduates welcome
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
• Resume and license verification required at submission
• COVID-19 test required within 72 hours prior to start date, with results available 48 hours prior

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in a hospital setting
• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation treatment plans to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with hospital policies
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home care strategies
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care planning
