Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Sales Associate to join our team! As a Sales Associate, you will assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities may include working the register, stocking shelves, processing inventory, and maintaining the store’s appearance. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and knowledge of cash register operation. We are hiring for multiple locations ( Spring Lake, Hope Mills, and Fayetteville), and both full and part-time positions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner

• Process pawn, buy, sell, and retail transactions accurately

• Verify customer identification and complete required documentation

• Evaluate merchandise for quality, authenticity, and resale value

• Maintain clean, organized, and secure sales floor displays

• Operate point-of-sale (POS) and inventory systems

• Handle cash and payments in accordance with company procedures

• Promote warranties, add-ons, and featured merchandise when applicable

• Follow loss prevention and security protocols

• Comply with all state and company regulations

• Support opening and closing procedures

• Maintain confidentiality of customer and business information

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
• Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
• Willingness to work well in a team environment
• Ability to quickly and accurately work a register
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail, sales, or pawn shop experience

• Experience handling cash and POS systems

• Knowledge of electronics, jewelry, tools, firearms, or collectibles

• Bilingual skills (Spanish/English a plus)

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

• Manual dexterity for handling merchandise

• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

• Comfortable working in a secure retail environment

Schedule

• Day, evening, and weekend shifts available
