Administrative Assistant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. Based in Durham, North Carolina, this role offers the opportunity to support daily office operations and ensure smooth administrative processes. The ideal candidate will excel in organization, communication, and multitasking. Responsibilities: - Manage and respond to inbound calls with professionalism and efficiency. - Perform accurate data entry tasks to maintain updated records and databases. - Provide administrative support to ensure smooth office operations. - Handle receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and managing inquiries. - Organize and maintain files, documents, and office supplies. - Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. - Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence. - Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes. - Track and order office supplies to ensure availability. - Support various ad hoc tasks as needed. Requirements - Proven experience in administrative assistance or a similar role. - Strong ability to handle inbound calls with professionalism. - Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records. - Familiarity with receptionist duties and customer service. - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
