Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all machines are running correctly and maintained

Job Description

• The execution of daily maintenance plans to meet sales and production needs while maintaining efficient maintenance costs.
• Follows safe work practices and observes safety rules and precautions
• Participate in coordinating repairs during outages to maintain a safe and effective workflow and reduce downtime.
• Participate in the installation and testing of equipment.
• Routinely monitor key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and making appropriate supervisory and management personnel aware of the findings.
• Provide an updated Maintenance folder for each machine.
• Develops maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Facility Maintenance, which includes electrical and plumbing
• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure they are clean and well-maintained
• Performs electrical and mechanical work as needed
• Troubleshooting hydraulics, electronics and software
• Maintain an inventory of parts and lubricants.
• Compliance with health and safety regulations, OSHA programs and company policies, procedures
• Provide leadership through personal examples, mentoring, delegating, coaching, and goal setting with appropriate motivation levels.
• Perform other duties to support the companys goals and mission.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance

Schedule:

• Day shift 7 am - 4 pm (may fluctuate based on operational needs)
• Monday to Friday

• Must be able to work in excessive heat, dampness, and cold

Physical Demands

To perform the essential functions of this role, you must be able to:

-Stand for long periods.
-Bend at the knees and waist.
-Regularly lift and move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and move 50 lbs. (or more with assistance)
-Regularly push and pull objects, push carts, and other equipment.
