Join our Community Support Team (CST) as a dedicated Substance Abuse Specialist (LCAS-A, CDAC) . In this critical, community-based role, you will provide high-impact treatment, support, and case management to individuals working toward recovery and stability.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide direct substance use disorder treatment and relapse prevention support.
• Develop, implement, and revise Person-Centered Plans (PCPs) in collaboration with the team.
• Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed.
• Coordinate care with medical, behavioral, and housing providers to ensure holistic support.
• Assist clients in locating and securing stable housing and developing daily living skills.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation for all services provided.
• Serve as the team's subject matter expert on substance use disorders.

Required Qualifications

• Licensure (Non-Negotiable):
• • Must hold a current, active license as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist-Associate (LCAS-A), or a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC).

Experience & Skills:

• • Experience in substance use disorder treatment is required.
  • Experience working in a community-based setting is strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• • Must be able to complete all state-mandated Community Support Team (CST) training.
  • Must be able to provide services to clients in and around the Goldsboro, NC area.

• Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
