Responsibilities
Collaborate with physicians to develop personalized formulations for patients.
Read and review incoming prescriptions for accuracy, suitability to patient, and potential interaction.
Counsel patients on side effects, dosage, specific storage needs, and interactions with other medication.
Help oversee management of chemical inventory
Prepare and verify sterile and non-sterile compounds according to USP <795> and <797> standards
Supervise pharmacy technicians in compounding procedures
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Qualifications
Must hold a current NC state pharmacist license (Additional state licenses are a bonus)
1-3 years of compounding, hospital, or home infusion experience
Pharmaceutical calculation expertise in relation to pharmaceutical formulations such as capsules, creams, suppositories, injections
Knowledge of USP 795, 797, 800
Knowledge of cGMP a plus
Knowledge of cGMP a plus
Knowledge of bio-identical hormones (BHRT), veterinary, and various therapeutic categories with compounding solutions
Strong customer service skills
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to multitask and shift priorities, as needed
PK Software or other compounding software knowledge is a plus.

Full-time position (40 hours/week)
Monday through Friday & 1/2 Saturday per month
