Registered Nurse Mohs Surgery

QualDerm Partners is looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team specializing in Mohs Surgery. Our mission is to provide comprehensive dermatologic care while ensuring that our patients receive the highest standards of treatment in a supportive environment. As a Registered Nurse in Mohs Surgery, you will play a critical role in assisting the surgical team and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the provider(s) during Mohs surgeries, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
• Monitor patient vitals and post-operative recovery, providing immediate care and support as needed.
• Ensure patient records are accurately maintained and updated in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing education regarding the procedure and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain an efficient workflow and uphold the practice's standards of care.
• Participate in patient education, explaining the significance of skin health and skin cancer prevention.
• Assist in general dermatology procedures as needed within the clinic.
• Support and train colleagues in Mohs surgery techniques if requested.

Requirements

• Current and valid RN licensure in the applicable state.
• A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a surgical or dermatology setting.
• Knowledge of Mohs surgery procedures and patient care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient interactions.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
