Technician Broiler

The Technician Broilerprovides operational and logistical support to the broiler service team by assisting with chick placements, pre‑placement preparation, field data collection, and product delivery. This role is designed for a highly reliable, self‑directed individual and serves as a developmental pipeline for future Service Technician roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with chick placements by coordinating directly with the chick truck driver and ensuring presence at each scheduled placement
  • Dump chicks during placements in accordance with animal welfare and company standards
  • Support Service Technicians during placements, allowing greater focus on water access, chick quality, feed availability, and overall placement conditions
  • Assist with collecting 7‑day and 14‑day bird weights in the field
  • Support accurate data collection and timely reporting to Service Technicians
  • Assist with inventory management of supplies and products
  • Perform other dutiesasassigned to support broiler operations

What You’ll Need:

  • Education: High school diploma preferred.
  • Certifications: Current driver's license and good driving record.
  • Experience: 1 - 2 years of directly related experience preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; MTech experience is a plus. Strong communication and leadership skills, both written and verbal. Quick learner of Company protocols/programs and adaptable to change. Solid math and analytical abilities for problem-solving and decision-making. Reliable and ethical, with a strong work ethic and punctuality. Team-oriented and self-motivated, able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
