Full-Time Family Assistant in Foxcroft for a Family with Two Girls and a Boy

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Foxcroft in finding a Full-Time Family Assistant for their three children, a 7-year-old daughter, a 4-½-year-old daughter, and a 2-½-year-old son. The nanny would typically be needed Monday-Thursday, 10:30 am - 6:30 pm, and Friday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.

The best nanny for this family would be warm, highly organized, and tidy, with experience caring for multiple children at once. The ideal candidate is patient, engaging, and confident in managing multiple schedules while creating a fun and loving environment. Mornings will be used for light household tasks such as loading dishes, folding laundry, wiping counters, and keeping the common areas neat. Each day, the nanny will handle midday pickup for the toddler around noon to ensure he naps at home, followed by afternoon pickups for the 4.5-year-old (between 3-4 pm) and the first grader, whose schedule varies due to after-school activities. On Monday and Tuesday, the girls participate in tennis and gymnastics, and the nanny will be responsible for transportation to and from those activities. Their 2-year-old will soon be ready for potty training, so potty training experience is a plus.

This family lives on a cul-de-sac in a child-friendly neighborhood and has a spacious playroom. The nanny should encourage outdoor play and screen-free indoor activities such as games, cards, and pretend play. When the children are out of school, the nanny should plan fun, age-appropriate adventures throughout the community. Both parents work from home in a separate office space (on opposite ends of the house from the playroom and kitchen).

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

• Providing transportation from school and to and from activities

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• Fold the family’s laundry

• Children’s meal prep, including after-school snacks, heating a quick meal, and cutting up fruit for the children

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

• Picking up after the nanny and the children throughout the day

• Emptying the diaper pail

• Put up grocery deliveries

• Run general errands

• Vacuum the kitchen area after the children's meals

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English, and Spanish is a plus

• The COVID-19, the annual Flu Vaccine, and TDAP are preferred but not required

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:
