Job Title: Service Technician

Job Description

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to customers by focusing on safety, quality, integrity, and collaboration. You will work in the field, servicing compressors for various clients, including hospitals and smaller facilities like car washes. Your role will include preventative maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting electrical motors, with occasional work at heights exceeding 20 feet.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test compressed air equipment on-site at customer facilities.
• Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on compressed air equipment on-site.
• Consult with and advise customers on compressed air equipment needs, maintenance, and repairs.
• Document work performed using designated forms and submit reports promptly.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Parts and Sales Departments, to facilitate service to customers.
• Other tasks as needed or assigned.

Essential Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's License with a clear Motor Vehicle Record.
• 2+ years' experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
• Ability to prioritize tasks with strong time management skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Keen attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with compressors and refrigeration is a plus.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repair is beneficial.
• 1+ years' refrigeration equipment maintenance experience.
• EPA Section 608 Technician (Universal Refrigerant) Certification.
• ASSE 6040 (Medical Gas Maintenance Personnel) Certification.

Work Environment

You will primarily work in the field, visiting client locations to service equipment. The role involves traveling to customer sites, with occasional visits to the depot 1-2 days a week. You must have your own standard tools. The position may require working at heights and in various environmental conditions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
